Throwing Drill – Into a Soccer Net

I explain what I mean by practicing throwing on your own as a way to develop your throw more effectively. This is one of my favourite drills for improving my mechanics, technique and the consistency of my throws.

  1. Okay cool thanks. I'm going to buy a portable soccer goal then and get those reps in! Then hopefully I can actually make a throw in a real game :p.

  2. A portable soccer goal is perfect…I had one I bought that just popped open and stayed in place using stakes. The only issue with the goal I had was that it wasn't very high so I could only practice really low throws and couldn't use it for varied height throws…
