This video explains how to catch a disc that has a lot of spin. Instead of catching the disc with your inside hand (so the disc is spinning out of your hand), it’s best to catch with your outside hand (so the disc is spinning into your hand).

    Great explanation again Rob. And there are 2 more advantages to catching like this:

    1) If the disc bounces out of your hand (provided you catch it on the far side like Rob showed), it will bounce into your body, which means you get a second chance to maybe get it under control.

    2) Catching like this also has a natural transition into a good (i.e. well performed, with less chance of injuring yourself) layout.
